He desires to put the earth under his ruler ship, because he thinks the Earthlings are ugly creatures with primitive brain. But he becomes aware of the secret power of Earthlings from a little book which the members of his crew are unable to read. They think that the book is written in a certain code which shows magnificent intelligence of Earthlings. They have discovered how to combine agriculture and mining. They can also grow crops of rare metal and high explosives. Think-Tank finds that the Earthlings are certainly superior to the Martians. So he decides to leave the earth without delay.

Noodle is an obedient apprentice of Think-Tank who is the ruler of Mars. He is more wiser and familiar with the facts of the Earthling as compared to Think-Tank. He has an act to tackle and flatter his boss. Whenever he had to correct him, he would present his thought as being of no particular importance. He rectifies his mistakes in a humble manner. He a polite member of Think-Tank’s crew and cooperates with the other members and effectively carries out the order of the commander. He is a practical man in real.

Think-Tank is a very ambitious, arrogant, mighty and powerful commander-in-chief. He wants that his empire should extend and invades the earth to put it under his rule. He has a false view about the Earthlings that can do no harm to the Martians. He is a very disciplined and impatient commander. His command must be followed in word and spirit. He has great knowledge and experience by which he guesses very well. When his crew informs him that they have found peculiaritiun on the earth, he help them to guess it as a sandwich, a staple diet on Earth. He takes quick decisions. When he realizes that the Earthlings may attack the Martians, he immediately orders them to leave the earth without delay. At the end of play he seems as a fearful commander who just by looking at a picture of Humpty Dumpty decides to escape to Alpha Centaur and drops the mission of attacking the earth.

With the passage of time the relation between the people of mars (Martians) and the people of Earth (Earthlings) became cordial. The Earthlings taught the Martians the difference between sandwiches and books and how to read them. They established together a model library in the capital city of Marsopolis. All this happened after the expiry of five hundred years-in the twenty-fifth century.

Think Tank was the ruler of the planet Mars. He was very arrogant and haughty. He considered himself a great schemer and scholar. He decided to invade the planet earth. Think-Tank disclosed his plan to his apprentice Noodle and instructed him to gather information about the position of his crew on the earth. There were three members in the crew, Captain Omega, Lieutenant Iota and sergeant Oop. He had the invasion fleet with him.
थिंक-टैंक मंगल-ग्रह का शासक था। वह बहुत ही अक्खड़ तथा घमंडी था। वह अपने आप को एक महान योजनाकार तथा विद्वान समझता था। उसने पृथ्वी ग्रह पर आक्रमण का निश्चय किया। थिंक-टैंक ने अपने प्रशिक्षु नूडल को अपनी योजना के बारे में बताया तथा उसे निर्देश दिया कि वह पृथ्वी पर गए उसके दल के सदस्यों के बारे में सूचनाएं संग्रहित करे। दल में तीन सदस्य थे-कैप्टन ओमेगा, लेफ्टिनेंट आयोटा तथा सार्जेट ऊप! उनके साथ युद्धक बेड़ा भी था।

Explain the guesses about the book that are made by Think-Tank and other Martians.
पुस्तक में थिंक-टैंक तथा अन्य मंगल ग्रह वासियों के पुस्तक के संबंध में लगाए गए अनुमानों का वर्णन कीजिए।
Answer.
At the order of Think-Tank, Noodle makes a contact with Martian Space Probe and asks Captain Omega about their position. Omega replies that they have reached the earth planet without any problem and are surrounded by very peculiar things that he had never seen earlier and is not able to identify them. Think-Tank looks at these things in his magical mirror and calls them sandwiches that are eatables for earthlings. He orders Omega to eat for confirmation. At last sergeant Oop eats a corner of the book. Noodle guesses that these are not eatables but are communication devices. Think-Tank agrees with Noodle and orders Omega to listen through ears. But Omega fails to listen to anything. Noodle once again guesses that these are for eye communication and not for ears. At last Omega takes vitamins to increase the intelligence and is able to read the book.
थिंक-टैंक के आदेशानुसार, नूडल ने मंगल ग्रह के अंतरिक्ष प्रोब से संपर्क स्थापित किया तथा उनकी स्थिति को जानना चाहा। ओमेगा ने उत्तर दिया कि वे पृथ्वी ग्रह पर बिना किसी समस्या के पहुँच गए। हैं तथा उनके आसपास ऐसी अनूठी चीजें हैं जिन्हें उन्होंने पहले कभी नहीं देखा तथा वे उन्हें पहचान नहीं कर पा रहे हैं। थिंक-टैंक ने उन चीजों को जादुई दर्पण में देखा तथा इसे सैंडविच की संज्ञा दी, जो पृथ्वीवासियों के द्वारा खाई जाती है। इसकी पुष्टिकरण के लिए वह ओमेगा को इसे खाने का आदेश देता है। अंत में सार्जेंट ऊप पुस्तक के कोने को खाता है। नूडल को लगाता है कि ये खाने की चीज नहीं है बल्कि संचार उपकरण है। थिंक-टैंक नूडल से सहमति जताता है तथा ओमेगा को इसे कान से सुनने का आदेश देता है। किंतु ओमेगा कुछ भी सुनने में असमर्थ रहता है। नूडल को एक बार किर लगता है कि ये आँखों के संचरण के लिए है न कि कानों के लिए। अंत में ओमेगा विटामिन लेता है। ताकि उसकी बुद्धिमत्ता बढ़ सके तथा पुस्तक पढ़ने में समर्थ हो जाता है।

After taking vitamins the crew members gain intelligence to understand the languages. When Iota reads ‘Hey diddle…spoon’ rhyme finds it more threatening by knowing that the earthlings have reached a high level of civilisation. He confirms that the earthlings have taught their domesticated animals music, culture and space techniques. They are launching an interplanetary attack of millions of cows. When, Sergeant Oop reads the rhyme ‘Humpty-Dumpty…’, He looks at the picture and screams that it is he who has a big balloon like head. He concludes that terrifies and the earthlings are after him and the Space Central Control He orders Noodle to prepare a space capsule for him. He leaves the Mars and orders the crew members to leave the earth without delay.
विटामिन लेने के बाद अभियान दल के सदस्यों को वुद्धि की प्राप्ति होती है तथा वे भाषा को समझने लगते हैं। जब आयोटा पढ़ती है-‘डिडल ….. चम्मच उन्हें यह पंक्तियाँ और भी खतरनाक लगती हैं, जब वे जान जाते हैं कि पृथ्वीवासी सभ्यता के उच्चतम स्तर पर पहुँच चुके हैं। उसे यह विश्वास हो जाता है कि पृथ्वीवासियों ने अपने पालतू जानवरों को संगीत, संस्कृति तथा अंतरिक्ष तकनीक सिखा दिया है। वे लाखों गायों के सहायता से अंतर-ग्रहों पर हमला करने जा रहे हैं। जब सार्जेंट ऊप ने कविता पढ़ा-“हमपटी-डमपटी….” उसने चित्र को देखा तथा चीखा कि मैं हूँ जिसके बड़े गुब्बारे की तरह सिर है। वह इस निष्कर्ष पर पहुँचता है कि पृथ्वीवासी उसके पीछे तथा अंतरिक्ष नियंत्रण कक्ष के पीछे पड़े हुए हैं। वह नूडल को आदेश देता है कि उसके लिए एक अंतरिक्ष कैप्सूल बनाए। वह मंगल ग्रह को छोड़ देता है तथा अभियान दल के सदस्यों को अविलंब पृथ्वी से चले जाने को कहता है।

Yes, like others I am too very curious about Aliens. Many times when I get a chance to read or listen about Aliens, automatically my imaginations work and my mind creates some special ideas about Aliens. How they look, where they live, what the real fact is about Aliens, etc.
As I have read in books and watched on discovery channel, many unidentified flying objects, or UFOs are seen in the different parts of the world. It is one of the most controversial mysteries known to mankind. From ancient to present times, unidentified objects have been seen in the sky by millions of people.
Some film makers have made movies on Aliens and almost all of them have been liked much. It is only because of the curiosity about Aliens.
If I were in place of Think-Tank, I would try to listen to the rhyme more carefully as it is an unknown language for me. After watching the picture, I would try to find out the reality of the picture and as Noodle was giving very good and correct advices, I would have consulted him about the picture and then would have reached the conclusion.
