(i) 1 रोटी को 5 बच्चों में बराबर बाँटने पर प्रत्येक बच्चे को कितनी रोटी मिलेगी?
(ii) 4 रोटियों को 3 बच्चों में बराबर बाँटने(RBSESolutions.com)पर प्रत्येक बच्चे को कितनी रोटी मिलेगी?
हल:
(i) यदि एक रोटी को पाँच बच्चों में बराबर बाँटा जाये तो प्रत्येक बच्चे को उस रोटी का पाँचवाँ भाग अर्थात् 1/5 या एक बटा पाँच रोटी मिलेगी।
(ii) यदि 4 रोटियों को 3 बच्चों में(RBSESolutions.com)बराबर बाँटा जाये तो तीनों बच्चों को एक-एक पूरी रोटी मिलेगी तथा चौथी रोटी का एक-तिहाई अर्थात् 1/3 या एक बटा तीन हिस्सा और मिलेगा। इस प्रकार प्रत्येक बच्चे को 1+ रोटी मिलेगी।
