व्यक्तिगत भावनाओं का लेखा डायरी-लेखन कहलाता है। जब हम अपनी भावनाओं, विचारों या दिन में घटित किसी घटना का रिकॉर्ड बनाकर रखना चाहते हैं तो हम उसे डायरी में लिखते हैं।

डायरी लिखते समय निम्न बातों का ध्यान रखना चाहिए
1. Date (तारीख)- जैसे 7″ January 2016, 7 January 2016.
2. Introduction ( भूमिका)- किस प्रकार का दिन रहा जैसे
(A) Today was a great day.
आज का दिन बहुत सुन्दर रहा।
(B) Today was a boring day.
आज का दिन उबाऊ रहा।
(C) Today it was a lucky day.
आज का दिन भाग्यशाली रहा।

3. Body- (मुख्य भाग)- यह डायरी लेखन का मुख्य भाग है। इसमें आप यह लिख सकते हैं कि आज के दिन क्या घटित हुआ। अथवा यह लिख सकते हैं कि आज आपने किसी व्यक्ति के बारे में या किसी वस्तु के बारे में क्या सोचा। अथवा आप इस घटना से प्रभावित होकर भविष्य की योजना के बारे में लिख सकते हैं।

4. Conclusion-(निष्कर्ष)-अंत में दिन के बारे में अपने विचार लिख सकते हैं जैसे- संक्षेप में पूरा दिन जोश से भरा था अथवा अब मैं दिनभर के क्रियाकलाप के बाद थक चुका हूँ।

5. Closing- (Bia) – Bye, Till the next time

June 7, 20 – A strange thing happened today. I was going home by bus. It stopped on the way for the dog, goat and donkey. The conductor asked them where they were going. They replied that they were going to the city. The conductor demanded the money. The donkey paid his money and took his ticket. The dog paid his fare but he paid too much. But the conductor did not have any change. He told the dog that he would give him his change when they reached the city. The goat had no money. She told that she would give the fare later. Bye

I enjoyed the fair very much.

Today when you were going to temple with your mother you saw a house on fire. What did you see there? Who helped the people living in the house? Write all this description in your diary.

Today when I was going to temple with my mother I saw a house on fire. People were trying to put out the fire. They were throwing dust and water on fire. A big crowd gathered there.
