1. Kaila Devi : This famous sacred place of Rajasthan is located 2.5 kilometers from Karauli. Kaila Devi is considered an incarnation of Maha Lakshmi. ICaila Devi is the ancestral deity of the royal family of Yaduvanshi. There are talk tales about the charisma of the goddess even today

2. Kami Mata : Temple is situated in Bikaner. In this temple thousands of rats roam around without any fear. These rats are known as ‘Kaba’ by local people. There are a lot of talk tales about the charismas of Karnimata.

3. Jamvay Mata : This temple is located in Jaipur. Jumvay Mata’s ancient name is Jaamvati. There is an ancient faith that the mountain named Jambhu Shail on which the temple of Jamvey Mata is located, on its visit and circum ambulation fulfils people’s wishes and brings good luck.

4. Jeen Mata : The major sacred place is located in Sikar. Jeen Mata is considered the incarnation of goddees Durga and her real and full name is Jayantimala. Jeen Mata is an eight armed gooddess. Jeen is also considered the eight armed ‘Mahisasur Mardini’.

5. Jantar : This instrument is like Veena. The instrument plays it while in standing position only. This is made up of wood.

6. Ravanhatha : This is played with sticks like violin on which some tinkles are attached at the one end. Tinkles also make sounds with the strinking of hand.

7. Algoja : It is a whiff instrument. It is like flut. Instrumentalists keep two algojas in mouth and flutes them together.

8. Shahnai : This is played at the auspicious ceremony of weddings. It produces sweet sound of whiffing.

9. Pungi : This is main instrument of ICalbelis. It is played like Algoja onlv.

10. Nagada : A nagadi along with small nagada is there. This is played along with Shehnai in folk plays.

11. Dhol : Dhol has prominent place in Rajasthan musical instruments. Instrumentalists put it around their neck and beat it with wooden sticks.

Dancing fast with seven to eight pots on head, lifting the hand-kerchief put on flower with mouth, dancing on glasses, dancing on the edges of plateau, etc. make this dance adventurous.

6. Gavri Dance : This dance is performed for the worship of Maa ‘Garajyas’. This dance is performed by men only and female characters are also played by males.

7. Kalbeliya Dance : Currently this dance has been enlisted by UNESCO. This is famous dance of Sapera caste in Rajasthan.

8. Gair Dance : During the festival of Holi, this dance form is performed everywhere.

9. Geendar Dance : This is popular dance form of Shaikawati. Different roles are played, like, sadhu, hunter, seth-sethani, bride-bridegroom etc. are worth mentioning.

10. Chang Dance : Chang dance is for men. Every man has a Chang and he dances in a circle blowing chang.
